As human beings and as a company, we are horrified and saddened by the continued attacks and systemic racism affecting Black Americans–most recently the evident murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, but also by the more common indignities like that endured by Christian Cooper.
Black Lives Matter.
As an education company, we at Noodle Partners recognize we have the ability to ignite positive change, and help make education equity and social justice a reality.
Within the Noodle Partners team, we will make sure we help drive the solution, not exacerbate the problem. We are committed to making the Noodle Partners team more diverse at all levels, and will support and respect that diversity through work and training to make sure we’re an inclusive place for every employee.
Within the Noodle Partners network, we are committed to expanding our partnerships with HBCUs as well as increasing the diversity of the programs we manage today and in the future. Each of our partner programs has added diversity to their universities, and we will ensure that they continue to do so. In addition, we will redouble our efforts to partner with Black-owned companies to help launch and support those programs.
And finally, for our society at large, we will be matching our employees’ charitable donations to local and national organizations that are addressing social injustice and inequities.
We acknowledge our privilege in making these statements; it’s a privilege that requires us to act.
Here’s to a better future,
Noodle Partners
