What is your area of expertise and how long have you been working in this field?
My area of expertise lies in partnership development, strategic consulting, and financial modeling within the higher education technology sector. I have been working in this field for over five years where I have held various roles that have progressively increased in responsibility.
Currently, as the Director of Partnership Development at Noodle, I oversee all new business pricing requests, manage the client contracting process, and work closely with universities as they think through a strategic approach to managing the finances of launching and managing online programs in an increasingly competitive space.
Why did you choose to work in education? How have your educational experiences shaped your career?
I chose to work in education because I believed the sector was in dire need of catching up to the digital transformation impacting the rest of the world. I also believed that advancements in technology could help expand access to education and improve equity. I have always loved being a student and believe that anyone is capable of learning anything—they just need an opportunity and the right teacher.
What is it about your background or career experiences that successfully positioned you for your current role at Noodle?
Previously, I worked for Dell Technologies, where I was introduced to the tech industry and gained a foundational understanding of the field. I then worked for an environmental start-up company called Climate Smart, which, like Noodle, was a smaller company driven by a culture of determined people committed to making a positive social impact.
