2022 was a year of growth and change for Noodle, with notable new university partners and programs, newly formed strategic partnerships, and a more flexible offering that allows universities to deploy Noodle technology and services campus-wide.
As we look back on the past 12 months, we celebrate the following highlights:
Partner, Program, and Student Growth and Successes
- We partnered with Yale School of Nursing for its first fully online master’s degree programs, the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner (see a complete list of Noodle partners and programs)
- We signed our first private-label partner for the Noodle Learning Platform, (look out for that announcement in January)
- We launched eight new programs with our partners: a Doctor of Pharmacy Online Pathway with Butler University, an Online Master of Science in Computer Science and an Online Doctor of Public Health in Leadership, Advocacy, and Equity with Tulane University, an Online MBA and an Online Master of Science in Computer Science with the University of Tenessee, Knoxville, and 3 Cyber Security Certificates with San Diego State University
- We developed a virtual learning platform for the National Aspiring Principals Fellowship, a first-of-its-kind partnership to boost the number of principals of color leading K-12 schools across the country
- We enrolled 3,100 new students across all Noodle-supported programs
- 360 students graduated from our programs
Corporate Growth and Successes
- We formed a partnership with EdAssist by Bright Horizons to offer their more than 250 clients, who represent the nation’s leading employers and seven million adult learners, access to Noodle’s high-quality education offerings from its roster of university partners
- We launched a strategic advisory board to help shape and guide our strategic initiatives, as well as advise on how best to serve our university and institution partners (meet our advisory board)
- Chief Strategy Officer Lee Bradshaw interviewed 8 more of the “Most Interesting People in Higher Ed”, including David Baron, Natalie McKnight, Levent Yarar, Joey Gawrysiak, Cameron McCoy, Michael Sorrell, Craig Boise, and Raj Echambadi
- We launched Noodle Measured, an interactive dashboard showcasing Noodle’s work with universities and the student outcomes that work produces
- Our subsidiary CCA was honored with 19 Educational Advertising Awards
Culture
- We named our first Chief People Officer, Allison Nugent, and a new Chief Marketing Officer, Catie Starr
- 129 new employees joined Noodle, bringing our headcount to 418 (meet the team)
- When surveyed, nearly all Noodlers (97%) said Noodle demonstrates and shows its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (our year 1 DEI retrospective is on the way)
- Noodlers gushed about Noodle: “Noodle genuinely cares. About their employees, about their students, about the world. I feel honored to be a part of this great company.” And “So many companies talk about taking care of their people or being a family, but Noodle has constantly given its employees every opportunity to succeed inside and outside of work.”
That’s a wrap for 2022. We have a few big announcements in early January 2023 and several planned in the first half of the year, including our first University to Employer (U2E) partner, so stay tuned.
