Due to widespread COVID-19 outbreaks in the US, many colleges and universities are considering moving some or all classes online in the next few weeks. It’s not easy to go online, and it’s especially challenging in a crisis situation. Online higher education experts from Noodle Partners and the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine co-hosted an interactive webinar week to help prepare university faculty and leadership for a swift online move.
The discussion centered around campus-wide and classroom communications, configuring and optimizing available learning technologies, on-boarding instructors and learners, and critically, how to proceed online given that not all students have access to internet and computers.
Hosted by:
Melora Sundt, PhD, Chief Academic Officer at Noodle Partners
Alicia L. Battle, PhD, MCHES, Asst. Professor, Director Online MPH Programs at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine
