Elissa Lappenga

Vice President of Learning Operations

Elissa Lappenga is the Vice President of Learning Operations at Noodle, leading our talented team of learning designers and technologists in building best-in-class academic offerings for our university partners. She also co-leads our Discovery team, working closely with new partners to capture their unique needs and context in a way that sets our service teams up for success.

Elissa has served as a leader and educator in higher education, as well as the nonprofit and technology sectors, for more than 25 years. In the higher education space, Elissa has led teams in student life and academic services at both private and public institutions, most recently managing UCLA’s graduate and undergraduate programs across three different life science departments. Just prior to joining Noodle, Elissa designed and launched a global online customer education and community program for a software company based in the UK.

Elissa completed her Bachelor of Arts at Hope College in Michigan and earned her M.Ed. from UCLA. In her spare time, Elissa serves on the boards of two nonprofits – Family Hope Foundation and I AM Academy – and enjoys spending time with her family on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.
