What elements or traits does a great leader exhibit?

For me there are 3 things necessary to be a great leader. First is having a vision. Secondly, great leaders hold themselves and others accountable. And third, great leaders are resilient.

When you think of great leadership, who comes to mind? Why?

When I think of great leadership, I think about Kobe Bryant. Not even being a Lakers fan growing up, I admired how Kobe went about things. He thrived under pressure and embraced challenges while setting a high standard for his team to follow. Whether it was a crucial game-winning shot or pushing through injuries, Kobe demonstrated resilience and determination that inspired those around him. Off the court, Kobe’s leadership extended beyond basketball. He was deeply involved in philanthropy and youth development initiatives, using his platform to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

How has your personal leadership style evolved?

My leadership style has evolved from being directive to participative and empowering. Now I prioritize collaboration, trust, and individual development within my team. I’ve become more adaptable with different situations and strive to maximize team performance while fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

What is it about your background or career experiences that successfully positioned you for your role at Noodle? Describe that role.

I worked in Paid Social marketing for about 5 years before joining Noodle. Additionally, I believe what positioned me successfully for this role specifically was not only my readiness to perform the required tasks, but also my sincere commitment to a role that I truly believe contributes to the betterment of our future as a society!

How do you support the success of your team?

I support the success of our team by being available whenever needed! I also support by being honest and transparent with my peers/manager.

Describe how your career has been enhanced by exposure to diverse people, places or experiences.

My career definitely has been enhanced through diversity by giving me new perspectives and ideas. It has enabled me to adapt strategies while looking at nuances, helped me tailor effective messaging, and develop unique campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. Ultimately  all of which drives successful outcomes in today’s global marketplace.

What are some of the most effective tools in your leadership arsenal?

I believe my most effective leadership tools are being transparent and adaptable. With these tools, it makes me have great relationships with my coworkers and have the ability to take on the next challenge.

Please tell us something about yourself that people would be surprised to learn.

I recently got my certificate to be a referee in the State of NJ for basketball!
