Rich Kochman is the Chief Marketing Officer at Noodle, responsible for market research, marketing, recruitment, and branding. With over 15 years of experience in data-driven business management, he transitioned to education, previously serving as EVP of Marketing & Analytics at 2U before becoming the CMO for General Assembly.
Passionate about education innovation, Rich Kochman is a proven business leader who delivers measurable growth strategies for institutions and companies that improve lives through education. At 2U, he played a pivotal role in achieving remarkable revenue growth of 400% and facilitated the company’s successful IPO. As CMO of General Assembly, he steered the organization through key growth stages and geographic expansion.
Before joining Noodle, Rich spent 8 years building Adaptive Consulting, a consulting and advisory practice that developed and executed sustainable growth strategies for over 60 edtech companies and universities.
In addition to his role at Noodle, Rich is an educator at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching in the Education Entrepreneurship Master’s Program. He has also been a featured speaker at events hosted by i3@UNC, the Wharton Innovation Summit, and Google Education.
