Todd Ellwein
General Manager
Todd joined Noodle with over twenty years of leadership experience in both the K-12 and higher education sectors. Todd most recently served as a Managing Director for Shorelight Education, where he was responsible for a joint venture U.S. university partnership that developed a “best-in-class” university experience for international students. Prior to Shorelight, Todd served as a regional vice president of operations for Kaplan University, overseeing Kaplan’s 7-campus Midwest region.
Earlier in his career, Todd worked for the Community College Research Center (CCRC) at Columbia University’s Teachers College, where he conducted qualitative research on Gates and Lumina Foundation funded initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes at U.S. community and technical colleges. Todd began his career in education as a social studies teacher and department chair at an international school in Mexico City and later served as founding dean of a Mexican university. Todd received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Carleton College and a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
