Nikita Chavarria

Nikita joins Noodle with over ten years’ experience working in higher education as an educator with diverse learners from first-year undergraduate students to medical students. Her career started as a graduate teaching and research assistant where her innate passion for teaching and mentorship began. From there, Nikita continued to mentor students as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health and then served as an instructor at the University of South Florida. Prior to joining Noodle, Nikita served as a faculty member and in an administrative capacity at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine as both a professor and curriculum dean where she oversaw the curriculum development, implementation and delivery of the first two years of the medical school curriculum. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Ph.D. degree in Microbiology and Cell Science.
