David Ramadan

A seasoned executive and international consultant with over 30 years of experience in business, government, and higher education, The Honorable David Ramadan, Ed.D., was elected and served two terms in the Virginia House of Delegates.
Dr. Ramadan is an adjunct professor at George Mason University. He also served as a member of GMU’s Board of Visitors, appointed by the Governor of Virginia. David previously taught at George Washington University. In 2021, he was named a Resident Scholar at the University of Virginia Center of Politics.
David emigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 1989 after attending International College in Beirut. He graduated from GMU with a Bachelor’s in Government and Politics, and a Master’s in International Trade and Transactions. David completed graduate studies at Oxford University, the American Graduate School of Business in Geneva, Johns Hopkins University, and Georgetown University.
In 2022, David earned a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from the prestigious Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University. His doctoral research focused on online higher education and workforce development and training.
